Norwegian companies Telia Norway and Datek Light Control jointly presented a new energy-saving lamp based on NB-IoT technology (NarrowBand IoT, technology of narrowband Internet of things). Telia Norway has experience of implementing NB-IoT in such areas as agriculture, navigation and smart counters. The innovative development is equipped with a built-in light sensor, as well as an automatic alert function in case of malfunctions.

This lighting solution is quite promising, since the issue of improving the energy efficiency of street lighting for Norway is quite relevant.
