Nissan and 4R Energy Corporation have launched the Reborn Light project, which involves the installation of innovative street lamps in Namie (Japan). A unique lighting system includes solar cells and used batteries from electric cars Nissan Leaf.

The project simultaneously solves the ecological problem of recycling spent batteries and helps to save electricity.
