IVT experts have modernized the existing functional of the “Helios” lines dimmer. “Helios-dimmer 2.0” is a new more reliable solution with greater fault tolerance. The device is designed to change the power modes (dimming) in order to flexibly adjust the lighting level, adjust the voltage in the power supply line and maintain this voltage within certain limits, and stabilize the supply of street and industrial consumers.

The new dimmer model is equipped with an operator panel with LCD display, which provides convenient control and data acquisition from the device by the dispatcher. Using the operator panel it is possible to:

• indication of the current state of the device and management of its operating modes;
• measurement and indication of voltage and current in the load;
• setting the desired output voltage;
• setting the parameters of the device.

The hardware-software complex “Helios-dimmer 2.0” allows to stabilize the suppressed voltage on the line of illumination in the selected range, which makes it possible to significantly reduce energy costs without significant power grid modernization.

The new dimmer functionality provides its effective application for the automation of outdoor lighting of settlements, highways, large enterprises, shopping center areas, parking lots, gas stations and storage facilities, for regulation and optimization of electricity consumption.
